NEW DATE AND HOTEL!! It’s time to “getaway” from our hectic schedules and grab a little “ME” time. Seize this weekend to get back on track. The Atlantic Sands Hotel in Rehoboth Delaware is located right on the boardwalk with a HUGE classroom with an ocean view. Rehobeth Beach offers all sorts of shopping and eating opportunities. Class A: Around the Block Quilt (68”X81”)

Taught by Jeanette Pie'

A fun to sew block made with nine patches and a strip sewn on all four sides to create the center of your quilt. The fun part of this quilt top is the element of surprise in the border and set in triangles to create a easy to sew pieced border. By simple piecing of the set in triangles and easy piecing of the border you have made a nine patch quilt with a “WOW” factor! (I would not suggest a jellyroll because you have to cut the 2 ½” strips down to 2 ¼” strips.) Printable Supply List

Class B: Carry Me Bag (64” X 64”)	Taught by Janet Elliott
Tote those little projects everywhere, this bag makes it fun! Knitting or crocheting a sweater? Working on appliqué or wool? Carry your projects in the CARRY ME BAG! Class C: Pinwheel Posies Again Quilt (52”X52”)

Taught by Susan Crane

This pattern is for an adorable quilt that uses charm packs, or your own choice of fabric combination. What’s really neat are a couple of new techniques: the flower petals are 3 dimensional (trust me-not hard at all), the flower centers are covered buttons, and a gentle wavy edge/outside border to finish it off! (Even though the pattern calls for a wavy border this is entirely optional). Printable Supply List

Class D: Sand and Surf Basket	Taught by Sherry Pie’
This beachy basket is made of twisted seagrass and traditional rattan in natural colors. The 15” base flairs out gently and shapes inward to a 12” diameter top. The double lashed rim is the perfect touch to finish this beautiful 10” tall basket. Base will be done prior to class by Sherry. (Kit fee: $60) Printable Supply List

Class E: Wollie Dresden Fan Wallhanging (37”X37”)

Taught by Connie Huddleson

If you have been wanting to learn the basics of Wool Applique and Embroidery…this is the project for you. Connie will teach you all the basics from cutting the Background & Sashing, tracing the appliqué designs, fusing onto wool and then laying out all the appliqués onto the background pieces. This design features black flannel background with green houndstooth sashing strips. Simple shapes of Fans are featured in the Dresden center, the Fan Flowers on the Vine and then finished off with the Fan Pickets around the outside edge. The embroidery can be simple Blanket Stitching or this piece can be embellished with fun Crazy Quilt Stitching. Take this class on Friday and Connie will be available to help with embroidery for the rest of the weekend. She will teach you some fabulous stitches! Sunday Class: Snap Happy Bags (3 small bags)	Taught by Susan Crane
