Breathe the salty air, put your toes into the sand, and sew without interruptions. The Brighton Suites Hotel in Rehoboth Delaware is located one block south of Rehobeth Avenue. Rehobeth Beach offers all sorts of shopping and eating opportunities. Who could ask for a better weekend???

 

 

Class A: Carrie’s Scrappy Quilt (64” X 73 ½”)

This is a great quilt to use fabrics from your stash!You can see from the photo on the website that the main part of the quilt will be very quick, throw in a few triangles, add some fused letters in the border to make this the perfect quilt for a new home owner, Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, whatever words you would like to add or not. I will teach you machine blanket stitch or hand blanket stitch for the applique letters. (Pattern available from Jeanette, $8 ea. no shipping cost) Printable Supply List

Class B: Outside the Box Quilt (64” X 64”)	Taught by Janet Elliott
There is never a reason to follow the pack when you can think Outside the Box. This quilt takes on the personality of your fabrics. Make it bold, pretty, masculine or cute as a square button! Class C: Quilt Carry Bag: (33” wide, stretching over 45” when full of quilts)	Taught by Susan Crane
This bag is deceptively spacious and holds more quilts than you would imagine. If you are off to a “show and tell”, it is perfect for transporting everything safely. It is stitched using the stitch and flip method, which makes up really quickly. Pattern will be given to you in class at the getaway. Printable Supply List

Class D: Farm Basket (kit $65)

Taught by Sherry Pie’

This lovely and durable basket will be a welcome addition to your sewing room. The large dimensions, starting with a 12” X 12” square base working up 10” to a rounded 15” diameter top, as well as the strength of the double walls and base, will accommodate most anything you care to store. 12” Fabric Framed Mirror Quilting isn't just for quilts! Here we've used quilting to make a lovely frame that could be used to enclose a mirror tile or to showcase a favorite photograph. Kit includes everything except fabric and a few sewing notions. Printable Supply List
